All exercises are due by Feb 26th at 9am.

Create a folder in the ‘EXERCISES’ folder on the network with your name, ex: LastName_Exercises. Save these exercise files with your Last name added to the end of the file name.  Ex: Join_Average_LastName.ai

Be sure to ‘save as’ into your own folder so you do not overwrite existing files in the class resource folder.

FINAL PROJECT & Exercises.

Per the handout, get a minimum of 20 thumbnail sketches done brainstorming for the final project that will revolve around mythology.

Format for the main image will be 1200 x 800 pixels or 800 x 1200. More to come.

Be sure to get the exercises done, including the type exercise from chapter 9 on page 255. Files for the exercise are on the class server in Class Resources/Textbook Examples.

Wednesday Feb 12th

For Wednesday Feb 12th we'll be continuing reviewing and exercising our Illustrator muscles from the book. The following need to be finished by Wednesday at 1030 as we will be starting the final project at that time.

Wednesday Snow day

Late start at 10am if you are planning on coming in (optional). If you cannot make it, we will see you Monday for the critique. Be safe!

Image Trace Project Critique

Wednesday we will present the image trace projects in class. Critique will begin at 9am, so have your work printed from the P02 printer on 11 x 17 (Tabloid) paper

Remember to create an 8.5 x 11 inch art board and describe 3 elements and 3 principles that stand out in your work.
